What can we all do to help? header image.

 The world is exhausted from two years of living in a pandemic, and now the world watches in horror as Russia commits acts of war in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Texas and Florida lawmakers are actively trying to hurt LGBTQ+ kids with abusive policies.

It's a lot. But here's what we can all do:

  • Pause. You don't need to respond to or comment on everything going on in the world. You don't have to consume every bit of media, either. Take breaks when you need it. Preserve your energy for the ongoing fight.
  • Donate. Your time and money. Some orgs you can donate to include Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT), Out Youth, United Help Ukraine, and UNICEF.
  • Amplify. Share voices and experiences from vetted sources close to the issue.

Take care of yourself and one another.
