"The light at the end of the tunnel".
How many times have you heard this phrase over the last several weeks? It's almost hard to believe that really is a LIGHT at the end of the tunnel, and not a trick mirror, but it's not a bad thing to be hopeful. In fact, it's downright necessary.
With spring officially underway and many of our loved ones getting vaccinated, we can't help but hope for a summer that looks different from last year's.
Which leads us to wonder what it is you're looking forward to this year? Go ahead, allow yourself to be hopeful, to anticipate something good.
According to researchers, anticipation for an event (whether it be big or small) makes up for a huge portion of our enjoyment of that event. And we could all use as much as enjoyment as we can get.
Kerri is looking forward to a Hawaii vacation next Christmas. Cassie, our Director of Ops, is looking forward to driving to the coast for some beach time. Jesbian, our Client Care Coordinator, is looking forward to visiting Disneyland for the first time in forever. (They're opening back up!)
So tell me somethin' good: How about you?
